Pacifica Health Care Enterprises, Inc. is a medical
staffing company that provides Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational
Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Emergency Medical Technicians,
Respiratory Therapist/Technicians, etc.
Our healthcare professionals will receive one (1)
evaluation after the first ninety (90) days of employment, and an
annual evaluation thereafter. All employees are subject to an examination
testing their specialty skills, pharmacology knowledge, and basic
skills. Our Director of Nursing and/or Nursing supervisor, through
personal interviews, discuss the results of the skills test and
pharmacology examinations. The basic skills checklist is re-administered
annually.
It is PHCE policy to provide all employees and applicants
with thorough orientation to our corporate policy and procedures,
forms, videos and orientation to client facility. We also provide
everyone with a copy of our company orientation handbook.
All our applicants must pass an array of
tests before they qualify for employment. This includes but is not
limited to:
- Criminal background check at a state level
- 12 panel drug testing
- OIG/GSA verification
- Sex offender verification
- Government suspect list
- Annual competency examinations (80% passing score)
- DMV records verification
- Annual safety examinations
